Britney Spears Accuses Mother of Sleeping With Boyfriend
Britney Spears showed the extent of her mental problems as she was admitted to hospital - by angrily accusing her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend.Insiders say that when she first went in she was “hurling profanities” at her parents and the staff of L.A.’s UCLA Medical Center.
But most amazingly she started screaming at her mum Lynne, accusing her of “sleeping with my boyfriend”.
Although she did not say who she was referring to, Spears is currently dating Birmingham paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

Another day, another drama: Britney Spears, shopping for Red Bull at 5am yesterday morning, has been taken to a LA hospital for psychiatric care
However it is not the first time the troubled star - currently getting emergency psychological help - has made such claims.
She has previously accused her mum of getting too close to Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline, using her delusions in part as a basis for her rift from her family.
Insiders told U.S. media that Britney said she was on Adderall, a stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, when she was admitted.

Patients at the UCLA Medical Center psych ward are reportedly given doses of sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication, with doctors regularly asking if they are suffering feelings of self-harm.She is believed to be on a “mental health evaluation hold” on the orders of her psychiatrist, who works out of the UCLA Medical Center.
The medic reportedly visited her earlier in the evening, and was alarmed at her reckless driving and her conduct, and felt her condition had deteriorated.
The psychiatrist decided Britney needed to be hospitalized on a 5150 hold, which means she is considered a danger to herself and others.
A former patient of the UCLA psychiatric ward told X17online.com that the ward was a “tough” environment to live in, with patients getting agitated and screams ringing out throughout the night.
Fights apparently break out in the common area on some occasions - due to paranoia and the fact that many people there are detoxing.
The source said that Britney will be held in the ward for at least 72 hours, and up to 14 days if she is still deemed to be dangerous.
Nurses and security guards supervise the patients around the clock and visitors are allowed to come for just one hour a day during the week - between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

Convoy: an ambulance, trailed by a 30 police cars and motorbikes that reportedly stretched the length of a football field, took Britney to an LA hospital last night

LAPD: the operation had been carefully planned, according to reports
At weekends the visits are extended to between 1pm and 3pm.
The psychiatric ward consists of two wings, with 10 rooms in each - most of which have two beds in. None of the rooms have televisions, but there is a TV in the communal area.
According to the source, patients are divided into two categories - addicts and bi-polars - with the highest risk people being restrained by wristbands in their beds.

Fears: Britney’s father Jamie arrived at the UCLA Medical Centre following Britney’s hospitalisation
Most of the patients are apparently between 18 and 50-years-old, and they are kept entertained with activity groups and newspapers. The source claims Britney will be encouraged to sleep as much as possible for the first few days, and will be given sleeping pills and anti-anxiety meds to help her do so.
After that, she will reportedly be put on Depakote Seroquel and Lithium for the bi-polar disorder, and Ativan for anxiety.
Britney will allegedly not be allowed outside for the first 72 hours. After that she can visit and outdoor court for one hour a day.
The source said doctors will visit Britney once a day and ask her questions such as “Are you able to sleep?”, “Are you hearing voices?”, “Are you paranoid?”
The medics will also apparently ask if she thinks about self-harm or committing suicide.
Spears was taken to the Los Angeles hospital by ambulance to be put under psychiatric care for the second time this month.
She was taken to the Medical Centre around 1.30am after a carefully staged intervention planned by her mother, with the police calling ahead to waiting medics with the message: “The package is on its way.”
Britney is on a three-day psychiatric hold, but sources say there is a “good possibility” that it will be extended to 14 days.
A source told Mail Online that Britney’s trip to UCLA was the result of a meticulously planned “snatch and grab” intervention led by her mother Lynne.
“She had no idea it was coming,” said the source, adding: “Lynne planned it down to the last detail.”

Controversial figure: Britney’s mother is desperate to remove Sam Lutfi from her daughter’s life
When Britney heard she was being taken into care, she said: “Is something wrong?” and insiders say she was too “out of it” to resist. But she then reportedly made herself a hot chocolate while she waited for the paramedics to arrive. She was strapped to a hospital trolley before being carried into the ambulance.
Co-heading Lynne’s team of helpers, says the source, was Britney’s father Jamie and her brother Jamie, along with representatives from Britney’s legal team and record label Jive Records.
Contrary to reports, Mail Online understands that Lynne was fully aware the psychiatrist was planning to force Britney into treatment.
“She did everything in her power to get Britney away from her boyfriend Adnan, but most of all from Sam Lutfi,” said the source.
Lutfi, Britney’s “manager”, has been a controversial figure in the star’s life over the past year, and her friends and family have regularly expressed concerned over his influence.
Adds the source: “He has been controlling her at every turn and they needed to put a stop to it.”
“Lynne’s opinion is that it has gone on long enough. She needs to get Lutfi out of Britney’s life - and by whatever means necessary.”
In recent weeks, Lutfi has been reaching out to influential U.S. media outlets, desperately trying to improve his image.
He even tried walking hand in hand with her on the street following Britney’s meltdown on Monday night.

On guard: police arrived at the pop star’s LA home amid fears she might kill herself
But Lynne, whose hatred of Lutfi reached a peak of intensity late last year when she discovered he was attempting to sell her private diary to media outlets, was visibly disgusted at his attempts to play nice for the cameras.”No matter how hard he tries, the family hates him,” the source added.
However, according to one report out of the US, Lutfi is still attempting to control the decisions regarding her medical care. And the doctors at the UCLA are including him in the decision-making process, much to the disgust of Lynne and Britney’s father Jamie.
Lutfi is also still making statements to the media on Britney’s behalf.
“She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong”, he told People magazine.
Britney was sectioned under code “5150″ - the emergency services’ way of indicating she is considered a danger to herself and others.
It had been feared early this morning that Britney had attempted suicide, but sources have since denied she attempted suicide.
It appears the operation had been in planning for a number of days and vehicles were blocked from following the same route as the emergency services convoy, which included 30 police cars and several police motorbikes.
Britney’s mother, Lynne, who reunited with her daughter earlier this week after months of estrangement, best friend Alli Sims and Lutfi were all at the property when police and ambulance arrived.
The hospitalisation came after Britney’s psychiatrist visited the star and recommended she be temporarily committed on the basis she poses a danger to herself and to others, according to reports.
Britney, who is being treated for bipolar disorder, had not slept in days was seen driving blindly around in a new Mercedes saloon two days before the intervention.
At one point, she became lost and asked a photographer for directions using an English accent.
A U.S. report claimed she had been on a three-day binge using the deadly addictive drug crystal meth in the time leading up to the stand-off over her children. “Britney was high on meth and naked all day before,” a source said.

Lost: days before being taken away, Britney was driving erractically and asked photographers for directions in an English accent after losing her way
“Even when losing her boys became an issue, she didn’t stop. After the boys were taken from her, Britney went on another drug binge, using crystal meth almost every day for an entire week.”Her psychiatrist is said to have ruled she should be treated under a 5150 hold, the same order that led to her being forcibly taken from her house on a stretcher earlier this month after a three-hour stand-off with police during which she locked herself in the bathroom with one of her sons.
Her visitation rights were stripped following the incident.
Lynne, who followed the convoy to hospital in a car along with her friend Jackie (who she is currently staying with in LA) - and boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, flew into Los Angeles from her home in Louisiana on Monday, where she reunited with her daughter after an ongoing rift.
The pair have been estranged since last summer, when they reportedly fell out over Britney’s children.
Sources say Britney went to hospital willingly, but earlier this month, she allegedly threatened to commit suicide if she is forced into psychiatric care.
She reportedly told a friend: “They’re not sending me to the nut house! No one can make me go - and I’m not going.
“I’ll kill myself before I let them lock me up again. So tell Mama and Daddy I said so. Oh my God, it’s over for me.”
Britney has been in a highly public downward spiral since filing for divorce from Federline in November 2006.
Her bizarre antics include shaving her head bald, attacking a car with an umbrella and bringing along a paparazzo pal on trips to a courthouse in her child custody case.
